Meet Kimberly Cole, Esq.

Kimberly Cole of The Cole Law Firm at work

"The most important part of my job isn’t drafting documents — it’s listening to people, understanding their needs, and guiding them through unfamiliar territory with clarity and care."

— Kimberly Cole

Bio

Kimberly Cole’s story starts and stays rooted in Northwest Florida. A sixth-generation resident of Okaloosa and Walton counties, Kimberly’s ties to the community go beyond geography — they’re generational.

She opened The Cole Law Firm in 2019, just six months before the pandemic hit, and has built a thriving, word-of-mouth practice focused on probate, estate planning, and ancillary probate for Florida properties.

With more than 15 years of legal experience and a background in social science education, Kimberly takes pride in making complex legal matters understandable and approachable. Her ability to break down dense legal topics comes not just from her time in courtrooms and law offices, but from her roots.  She was raised in a hardworking blue-collar family where listening and learning were as important as leading.

While she was raised in a hardworking family with generational roots in Northwest Florida, the true foundation of her life is her faith. It shapes her values, guides her decisions, and grounds her through both calm and chaos. She is an active member of Crosspoint Church in Niceville, where she finds purpose through worship, service, and community. Her faith is not just a part of who she is — it’s the compass that points her forward in everything she does.

Before launching her firm, Kimberly worked extensively in both the private and government sectors, managing federal contracts and working in real estate, litigation, and business law. She has also held leadership roles in several local bar associations and nonprofits, and brings a strong sense of service to her work and her community.

For Kimberly, practicing law isn’t just about documents or deadlines — it’s about helping people move forward with confidence. Whether she's guiding a grieving family through the probate process or helping a fellow attorney navigate Florida’s ancillary administration requirements, Kimberly shows up with knowledge, clarity, and care.
